With theambient temperature sharply increasing, the following vehicle safety tips will help you minimize the risks resulting from the excessive summer heat:
ü Check your vehicle fluids (engine oil, engine coolant, brake and steering oils).
ü Check tires condition and pressure. Do not reduce the tire pressure because of the hot weather.
ü Check your vehicle A/C, adjust refrigerant if needed.
ü Do not leave engine and A/C running for long periods on idle as the vehicle may overheat.
ü Always park your car in the shade and leave a small opening in the windows for ventilation.
ü Do not lock children in the vehicle unattended while the engine is running.
ü Remove any pressurized cans or lighters from the vehicle because they can explode.
ü Always keep some water in your car for use in emergencies.
With our best wishes for you, have a safe and enjoyable summer.
